Site Showcase: Michelle Lavergne Coaching

When it comes to any creative profession, it feels sometimes like you are put into a box, canvas, instagram square, etc. But if you strip that clean and see what it can do FOR you instead of feeling as if you are restricted by the box, you can really create dynamic content. Delilah Creative have done just that here with the Rally (Brine) template. Removing the content and seeing the possibilities allow for all this layered and complex greatness that tells a story for their client :)

Client Site Description: Professional Website

Template Chosen: Rally

Why did you choose that template?: We love the "blank space" feel that Rally has when you strip everything out. It's the template we always use for all of our sites for the past year really!

What was the Client's Objective?: A vibrant yet professional site to showcase her mission to help women over the age of 35 rediscover their fitness and find peace with their bodies.

Tell us a bit about the design process?: We worked with this client on her branding as well as her website, which always makes for a smooth process as we know we've already considered how her branding should be applied across multiple touchpoints. The client also used her brand colours when planning her photoshoot, which means the whole look is really consistent.

How did you help the client differentiate their business through design?: Through a strong colour palettte and bold font choices, to match our client's personality and no-nonsense approach.

Is there custom development? What about custom added CSS? Can you tell us why you did or did not use these edits?: Yes -- lots of custom CSS, but all planned to be easy to manage.

What are the top three creative features you used in the design?:

 1. Cool image overlapping styling

2. Bold font choices

3. Layering of text, images and design elements to give a textured feel.
